Adobe Connect

The problems with Adobe-Connect seem to be resolved. Adobe have investigated the issue and it was apparently due to one of their servers becoming overloaded due to too many users. The issue has apparently been resolved by moving some users to another server.

At present their system is working correctly and hopefully the problems will not reoccur. 

We will continue to monitor the situation and if any issues arise, do please let us know.

Adobe Connect

Adobe continue to investigate the intermittent performance issues, which are affecting a substantial amount of our scheduled events. We apologise for any disruption to your online tutorials. It seems that other Adobe Connect users such as The Open University are also experiencing problems.  The problem is an Adobe issue that has ultimately been causing our VLE to crash for users trying to access tutorial links.
There will be server upgrades occurring, scheduled for the next couple of weekends on Sundays between 00:01–03:00 to address the known issues for some users.  We are expecting that this will resolve the issue for us as but as yet we do not have a definitive timescale for full service to be resumed. Downtime is not anticipated, however a small minority may experience a momentary disruption and rejoin the room.
